Description: A ripe, classically built barrel-fermented Chardonnay with hints of orange peel, honeysuckle, and lavender on the nose. A full body reveals a smooth wine with excellent richness on the palate and a long, minerally finish.

Geology: Decomposing slate laced with veins of quartz.

Vineyard: Northeast facing at 640 ft above sea level, planted at 1895 vines per acre with Chardonnay clones 124 and 277. Vines were limited to no more than 14 clusters per vine, yielding approximately 2.6 tons per acre (a bit less than one bottle per vine).
